One wintry night in the early 2000's while visiting friends, they pulled out this little pot and offered to make us a cup of espresso. I don't know if it was the uniqueness of stove top coffee, the feeling of visiting a quaint Italian cafe or the tastiness we experienced after, but I was hooked!
